Sadly these signs are very much necessary, as i witnessed myself...When we took a ride from Melbourne to Sydney we saw so much roadkill, it was uncanny :( Poor animals get freaked out by the lights and get all confused...serious boo. Once we almost run over a pademelon - it was dark and we were on a curve, and this cute thing jumped out of nowhere! we were all lucky that time.
