Chain postcards are a great way of giving 'life' to blank postcards you keep at home because you just love them too much to swap them :D These are two latest examples, thanks to Leon who organises chain postcard groups on facebook..:))

Chain Postcard - Oswaldo Guayasamín's 'Tenderness'

When in Ecuador I mostly encountered the works of Eduardo Kingman, or so I thought...because I was sure this was his work too. Now I discover the name of Oswaldo Guayasamín, who is something of a national hero. This is one of his final works from the set called 'Tenderness' and that word surely describes it well..!

My 1st Chain Postcard!

I have heard of chain postcards a while ago, paticipated in one chain in a round robin group - it got stuck with a person in Romania who suddenly stopped all her postcrossing activities, and I haven't thought about it since. Then I got reminded by Leonardo and we formed a European group, 1st chain was completed in a month, mine took couple of weeks longer. I am happy to have given this orange (dutch, what else!) bike a ride, and big thanks go to Leonardo, Sara and Genek for making it happen! xD
