Maps Of Luxembourg

A friend went on a short trip to Luxembourg last month and dedicatedly sent me these map cards :) Have actually received the latter one via official postcrossing some 5 years ago while I haven't even thought of writing a blog. I believe it was my first card ever from Luxemourg. And now I am being spoilt heh

Beaufort Castle, Luxembourg

 

Beaufort is a commune and town in eastern Luxembourg - its castle was built through four periods, the oldest part in the early 11th century. Since 1981 its been owned by the state. This beautiful view is something dreams are made of - thank you very much Anne :) and for the Europa stamp too!

Vianden, Luxembourg

Vianden is a small town situated in NE Louxembourg, on the Our river near German border. Its main site is the impressive castle overlooking the valley, built in 11th-14th centuries. As of 1993 the town and castle are on Unesco's tentative list :)
