I'm having a bit of a trouble naming the Kotovasiya cards heh. Its been a while since I've received one, was happy to tag in the Kotovasiya tag for this cute card...thank you Anya :)

I've noticed the change - this card is smaller than the previous ones and has square corners. Perhaps a different publisher?

Yes, I got hooked on Kotovasiya! :D

I've just checked the official site (tukituk.com), and not knowing Russian didnt help at figuring it out heh. I thought each card may have a name, but all i saw were numbers, so i'll name them as i go :) This one was pretty easy! I love the details like that little mouse in the down left corner, gazing at the viewer all perplexed :))) cuuute!

I had a great swap on flickr with Natalia/tsaheylu, and the next post will show you what else makes it so great. Colourful stamps much appreciated!

Dinosaurs & Kotovasiya

 I have arranged a private swap with Maria from Russia - found a dinosaur card (for my slowly growing extinct species collection) and Kotovasiya (which could easily become my next collection!) i think the dinosaur card is very atmospheric; i like the fact that it depicts a scene, and the sepia tones have always been close to my heart :)

Kotovasiya cards are so cool! There is not a particular elaboration and/or grandness about them - they are simply cute and soothing to look at. what surprised me is that the card is soft to the touch too :)

The stamps Maria used is a complete set (on two cards) 'Culture of Russia People - National Hair Dress' - i think they are absolutely wonderful! i have consenquently checked russian mail & stamps online and discovered that they print some of the most amazing stamps i've ever seen :)
