Gars Am Inn, Germany

I have been to Gars many times since my sister got married there, but I never would have imagined the broader view exactly sooo green..! Truth to be told I loved every single place I've seen/been to in Bavaria :)

Neuschwanstein Castle, Germany

I think all postcrossers and many people beyond are very well acquainted with this image of the fairytale Neuschwanstein Castle - partly also because  it was the inspiration for Disneyland's Sleeping Beauty Castle. I have been to Bavaria so many times and wanted to visit, but Ana preceded me and sent this gorgeous snowy view :) Hvala bossita!
I also like the special stamp because Tollwood is a great yearly happening which oozes, well, happiness :) So much to do, music, shows, artesanal markets...and am sure they added more stuff since I was there quite some years ago..!

Marienplatz, Munich, Germany

Here is a very familiar view of the Town Hall at Munich Marienplatz, with imposing Frauenkirche in the background. I have been there so many times but it was Andy who added its view to my postcard collection - a surprise card, thank you :))

Glimpses Of Bavaria, Germany

The Free State Of Bavaria is Germany's south-eastern and largest state - its larger than Croatia and the population is triple! The capital is Munich, country's third largest city. It is one of my favourite cities, perhaps because it was my home for a year...but I think I am objective when I say there is lots to see and do there, lots of history and happenings. I really like this multiview cos its so different from what you usually see on german postcards...And the flower stamp is gorgeous :)

Landshut, Bavaria, Germany

Landshut is a Bavarian town situated on the banks of the River Isar, and is the capital of Lower Bavaria. The city is of national importance because of its predominantly Gothic architecture within the historic city centre, especially Trausnitz Castle and the Church of Saint Martin featuring the world's tallest brick tower. Also world-known for the Landshut Wedding, one of the largest historical pageants in Europe, commemorates the wedding between Hedwig, the Polish King's daughter, and George, the son of the Duke of Landshut. It is being held every four years, and it seems 2013 is the next date..! I dont think I'd be able to go but ehm...lets see..!
Beautiful town that I visited last winter, and I have to add a few of my own photos to show what I liked most about it, its colourful houses :)
