UNESCO - Medina Of Fez, Morocco

The next stop, another amazing medina. Fez is the second largest city of Morocco, with a population of approximately 1 million. Its medina, the larger of the two medinas of Fes, is believed to be the world's largest contiguous car-free urban area. The first photo shows the tannery (Fez was, and still is, a prime manufacturing location for leather goods) which is 'sold' as one of the main attractions.
I am sure this would have been a fabulous experience under the right circumstances, but as a solo female I was constantly under pressure, guys trying to hire themselves as guides and not really willing to let go...I'd always advise teaming up with someone :))
