Hampi is a village located within the ruins of Vijayanagara, once a capital of a powerful empire (14th-17th century). Situated in the Karnataka state, it continues to be an important religious centre.
I've been lucky lately to arrange private swaps with great swappers from India, who help me with the long list of (missing) Unesco sites. Thank you Nagi :)
