These beautiful photographs are work of the local author Arxiu Bestard, taken in and around Puerto Pollensa, northern Mallorca. Of course they don't accidentally feature donkeys, they have been picked out with care ;) I do love them being a testament of life on the island at the turn of the last century...

I have somehow managed not to post anything for a while, even though I 'set some goals' uhm. Thats what happens when you (re)discover a world of wonderful stamps and covers on ebay..! So I have made a purchase after a few years of fasting...found some pretty cool ones, excited xD The stamp would match this week's Sunday Stamps theme I think, agriculture being one of the primary-sector industries :)

A Man With A Cat

I dare myself to reach the number of 1000 posts by the end of this month, and hopefully 25000 views! Then I will peacefully slide into the winter break, with occasional posts...(I hope to still participate in Sunday Stamps).

Self_Printed Postcards, Holland/Switzerland

Lately I have been wondering about good postcard-printing web-sites, and asked for help among fellow postcrossers. We have arranged a few swaps, and here are the result - this way I want to thank both Annemieke and Sara for help, and state that both MOO and PosterXXL really guarantee a high quality of printing, so much so that I am in the process of choosing photos for an order online! (partly fun, partly tough, and of course great hope that others will like what I choose..!) :))

Donkeys In Cappadocia

Hmm I haven't exactly been chop-chopping these last few days have I..? Days fly by, before you know it its October, the month or rains and winds and counting the last weeks until the end of season and, well, end of work for this year...Anyways, here is one bright card, a tough one to allocate as it belongs both to my donkey and Unesco collections...but as I have posted about Cappadocia before, here these donkeys are independant xD Thank you Onder!
