Little Cymru Sheep

Not really sure how to title this postcard heh. But its an utterly cute way to remind myself of the trip to Mount Snowdon in Wales, a great experience though the descent ended up in being soaking wet!

Toro De Osborne, Spain

This is such an iconic image, but only now do I learn more about it...Osborne Bull is 14 meters high sillouethed figure made as a roadside advertisment for Osborne sherry company in 1956. All such signs were to be removed in 1994 but still a few were kept as they became a part of the landscape, like this one in Las Cabezas de San Juan in southern Spain. Thanks Wesley! Your travels sound like fun :)

Jelenov Greben/Deer Ridge, Slovenia

This is a place where my sis and her family stayed last, doesnt it look so relaxing..? They fed deer some plums directly from a tree :) My first encounter with 'Postage Paid Slovenia' stamp, and a different version in Slovenian with the name of the PO. Cool to get a card from such a small place, I thought..!

Dancer At Chennakesava Temple, India

This beautiful intricate sculpture of a dancer is situated in Chennakesava Temple , which is part of a complex waiting on the Unesco's tentative list. Thank you very much Smitha :)

Das Eselein

An unusual donkey postcard spotted by dear sis - illustration of fable Das Eselein (Donkey) by the famous Brothers Grimm. A donkey that plays an instrument? Like a bizzare dream!

At The Table

Its lunch-time! So I remembered this cute postcard...which sez 'Nothing unites the opposites better than a mutual passion' xD

UNESCO - Shirakami-Sanchi, Japan

Situated in the mountains of northern Honshu, this trackless site includes the last virgin remains of the cool-temperate forest of Siebold Beech (commonly known as Japanese Beech) that once covered the hills of northern Japan. In this forest you can find the black bear and the serow - now this is the first time that I've heard of serow, an animal species with the looks between a goat and an antelope, and the Japanese species is supercute!
As Ai explains, these woods have been famous for their beautiful autumn leaves since ancient times - and she used a stamp which shows that scenery, gorgeous! I love trees and have fallen in love with this image at first glance. Thanky you once again Ai for this swap :))

Korea, Land Of The Morning Calm

I really love this name for Korea, Land of the Morning Calm...and it seems to be so well visualised with this lovely image of 'genealogical table' (as is said at the back of the postcard). Many thanks to Junghuem, and for great stamps..! :)
