This is a card that I have in my offers album but I was happy to receive it from dear Tina who was on her yearly holiday in Croatia and got it for me :) It is one of my favourite donkey cards because it is a reminder of past laborious times in my region...and what can I say about the stamp? It looks so delicious I wanted to bite that corner of the postcard off! Još jednom hvala Tina ;)

Brest, France

Brest is a city in the french northwestern region Brittany, an important harbour and university town. Every year it hosts the international festival of the sea, boats and sailors, and this is exactly why Zoran went there - hvala Zorane, nadan se da si se super proveja ;)

Legolas, Lord Of The Rings, In 3D

At the time of release of the 1st LOTR movie Legolas was my favourite character, because he didn't speak much and was so brilliant with his bow and arrows :) Later I figured that whatever short sentences he said were true yes, but kinda superfluous heh.

This fantastic 3D card arrived from Taiwan, thank you so much Wu Yi! I always think 3D cards are so cool someone is bound to nick them along the way...so I was so thrilled to recieve it <3>There is something really unique and interesting as Wu Yi's hobby - beautiful hairpins. Nantucket is an island in the United States, 30 km south of Cape Cod (Massachusetts). It is a summer colony i.e. the population of the island soars from about 10 000 to 50 000 during the summer months. I heard of it from different movies and TV series, always mentioned like THE place to go!

chalcedony, amber, calcite etc.

The clasps on her headwear are golden,
as are the taches on her silk coat.

I'd love to see this traditional clothing in colour too as all the semi-precious stones must make it colourful! I love this portrait, thank you Vickie for sharing it with me :))



UNESCO - Residence Of Bukovian And Dalmatian Metropolitans, Ukraine

The Residence of Bukovinian and Dalmatian Metropolitans is an outstanding example of 19th century architecture - the property covers an area of 8 ha and comprises the former Residence of the Metropolitans with its St. Ivan of Suceava Chapel; the former seminary and Seminary Church, and the former monastery with its clock tower within a garden and landscaped park.

I fail to find out more about the Dalmatian connections...as I am Dalmatian myself, of course I'm curious :)
