The Netherlands - National Football Team

Euro 2012 is moving into the 2nd phase without the Dutch football team, which I must admit is both shocking and disappointing. I have always been a fan and was hoping they will play well, alas...After a few last games and many dodgy referee decisions I'm becoming less and less interested in who's going to win :/
Thank you Wilma for this great card! I'm only missing Robben and Van Persie..!

UNESCO - Trogir, Croatia

A lovely surprise from Ivana - hvala :)
The historic centre of Trogir is one of the seven croatian Unesco sites. The town was founded in the 3rd cent. BC by Greek colonists and developed into important port until the Roman period. In the 11th cent. a diocese was established and in 1107 it gained an autonomous status. Trogir is the best-preserved Romanesque-Gothic complex in the whole of central Europe.

Japan - Sushi Platter

'The joy of eating sushi lies in appreciating the skill and the aesthetics.
Virtuosity lies in simplicity, in trimming away all excess.'

What a joy to be tagged by someone who is so thoughtful when sending a card - great choice, awesome stamp! And quite a curious cancellation - i was wondering for a while if it really was one! :D Thanks so much Rie :)))

Japan - Maiko With Red Parasol

Beautiful card, great stamps, the stickers...what more is there to say? Thank you Shiori :)))

' I Am So Happy You Exist'

In this round last card from my sister, new donkeys - and look how cute they are!! :)

GEO - Whipsnake And Treefrog

'Both the Whipsnake and its potential prey the Treefrog are relying on their camouflage colour; green as the leaves of a helophyte. In this case the amphibian's only rescue lies in a quick leap-reaction.'

So rarely do I come across a snake postcard. Happy :)))
